The Voyage is over, the Adventure Begins

Hello again,We landed on the alien shores of the New World around a week ago. Now me and all the others are making our way towards the site where we plan on building the first British Colony here on the New World.
We have been ordered to name it Jamestown after King James 1.It might even be possible to start up a trade with the natives that we encounter there.
But highly doubt this because. Well that is all for now until the heavens grant me another few moments of time to write. Until a later date,

Hello John Smith now that you have landed ashore are you planning on going with the trade or are you planning not taking the trade? If you are doing the trade what are you planning on trading, and what are you planning on getting back from the trade?
Hello Powhatan. To answer your first question, yes I am going to start up a trade system with your people.Now for your second and first question. I was planning on offering you things like new equipment such as clothing and sacks to carry things in. These would aid your people greatly in traveling and keeping warm in the winter. In exchange my men and me are going to need food and you will have to teach us how to survive in this land.
